Maryland Community Band

The Maryland Community Band is part of the outreach program of the University of Maryland School of Music. This program provides an opportunity for university students, faculty, alumni, and community members to come together to continue learning in the musical arts.

The director of the Maryland Community Band is Professor John Wakefield, retired Director of Bands for the University of Maryland.

The Maryland Community Band meets on Tuesday evenings at the Clarice Smith Center for the Performing Arts at the University of Maryland Campus in College Park.
