Alumni — are you ready for Giving Day and to support the MSOM Instrument Fund?
Giving Day is the University of Maryland's annual 24-hour fundraising marathon, raising much needed support for schools, colleges, programs and initiatives across the university. You can help the Mighty Sound of Maryland by contributing to their fundraiser on March 5th!
Your gift to the Marching Band Instrument Fund will help us enhance the quality of our performances. The regular use of instruments for outdoor rehearsals and performances requires ongoing repairs and replacement, and many of our instruments are substantially older than our student members! While it can be a fun story when alumni return to see an instrument still in use that they performed on a few decades ago, many of our instruments are long past the point of providing the best musical experience for our members. With your help, we can focus on making critical instrument purchases and repairs, allowing MSOM to perform at its best!
